The Vararak River is in Goris.

It is the left tributary to the Vorotan River. It starts from the south-east slope of Mets Ishkhanasar Mountain Top in Syunik plateau. The length of the river is 29 km and the catchment basin is 146 km². The waters are used for irrigation and energy purposes. In the mid-10th century, the same canal was built on the river.
